NTPC is developing an Eco- Park spread over 885 Acres on ash disposal area of erstwhile NTPC Badarpur Plant. The Park shall consist of Lawns, Forests and several recreational facilities like Kid’s play Zone, Gazebos, ponds, jungle safari, fountains, walking & bicycle riding paths, observation mound, reflective pool, golf course, Sculpture Garden etc.

For installing sculptures in the sculpture garden, Director (HR) during his visit to Eco Park expressed that inhouse talent for making of the required outdoor sculptures by using scrap steel/material should be explored and accordingly all the station BUHs have been communicated vide email dated 17.11.2022.

To encourage wider participation of the employees/employee’s family members/ teams, a 'Sculpture Competition' inviting inhouse talent from all NTPC stations/projects/offices (including JVs/ Subsidiaries) is being conducted.

Interested participants may send the Sketches of the sculptures with approximate dimensions to email id: hiteshchaudhary@ntpc.co.in on or before 31st Jan’ 2023. After the discussions internally & with the consultant and upon intimation of the approval, sculptures may be made and transported to Eco Park by 31st March 2023.
